single node hadoop installation on ubuntu 14.0.4 -

I have installed Java and the houp, but when I created nominated formatting and start -all.sh , I get the following error: 

 : ~ $ hadoop namenode -format error: main class org.apache.hadoop.util.PlatformName did not find the error or could not load: Error loading main Class org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.NameNode
