java - Serialization and write object -

I wanted to know that we can change the method of serialization in Java, like say we have two fields in the class And we make an object of the class. Can we change the order in which the field of the objects are ordered? It is also related to writing in any way () the method that is used to write data in a .ser file .. ?? Please help
